This Virginia-approved General Business Ethics CPE course examines the principles that support ethical decision-making in today’s business environment, with a practical emphasis on integrity, accountability, and professional judgment. Drawing from moral philosophy, business ethics, and the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct, Jennifer Louis connects foundational concepts to the real-world pressures accountants and business professionals face, including conflicts of interest, misleading reporting, workplace culture, data privacy, AI-related risks, and the ethical consequences of rationalization.
This Virginia ethics CPE webcast also explores how ethical behavior is shaped by leadership, internal controls, organizational culture, and individual character.
