This course presents the latest tax developments in partnership, c corporation, and LLCs taxed as partnerships, SMLLCs, and c corporations for the coming tax year 2022 season.  We’ll cover current legislation related to these entities, recent tax court cases, tax planning and tax compliance matters as well as best practices for servicing these clients.

Learning Objectives

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Learn the latest updates and changes to 2022 tax forms and other compliance matters related the filing partnership and c corporation tax returns, including schedules K-2 and K3 for partnerships and LLCs; and
  •  Strengthen tax knowledge related to partnership, LLC, and c corporation pros and cons for tax compliance and tax savings, including strategies for state pass through-entity state tax elections (PTET) and the coming Corporate Transparency Act requirements; and
  •  Develop practical insights and effective planning criteria to help clients with entity selection related to LLCs, partnerships and c corporations.
