Course Description

Ethical dilemmas in accounting are not just complex; they are a recurring challenge in the ever-evolving landscape of finance and accounting. Navigating these ethical waters, especially for those required to meet specific CPE ethics requirements, can often feel like a daunting task. This CPE webcast course, tailored to meet 1-3 credits as per NASBA Sponsor requirements, offers a dynamic and engaging solution to this challenge. Presented by Jeff Sailor, a renowned expert known for his unique and humorous teaching style, this course dives deep into the nature of ethics in accounting. It covers the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct, the AICPA Conceptual Framework for tackling ethical issues, and places special emphasis on independence requirements, particularly in relation to nonattest services. Jeff’s approach of integrating humor and video parodies not only makes learning enjoyable but also aids in better retention and understanding of these critical ethical principles.
