Course Description

Women make up 24% of accounting industry partners, which doesn’t make sense since men and women have been graduating with accounting degrees in equal numbers since the 1970s. At the same time, firm leaders are complaining loudly of an industry-wide talent shortage. This course will discuss a three-prong strategy to close the gender gap, create an inclusive workplace, and boost your bottom line all at the same time, whether you are in public accounting, industry, government, education, or just want to help your granddaughters. You’ll also learn some of the shocking science behind unconscious bias, brain differences, and other research that affects women and millennials in the workplace.

Learning Objectives

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Identify unproductive characteristics of your workplace that you didn’t know existed
