  • Identify basic accounting concepts and procedures.
  • Recognize basic financial statements, their purpose and components, and how real estate items are accounted for.

Chapter 2

  • Recognize the methods of computing interest, basis points, discounting, APR, depreciation, stipulated amount payments, mortgage payoffs, add-on interest, and income capitalization.
  • Calculate area measurement, volume measurement, and front foot calculations.
