Course Description

This course covers manipulating text data in Excel. The course focuses on Text functions, such as LEN, TEXTJOIN and SEARCH. It also examines some Math & Trig rounding functions and shows how to fix errors that result when data is imported. Flash Fill is also covered.
This course is designed for intermediate users of Excel who either deal with a lot of data or are frequently downloading data. This course covers simple to advanced functions and includes new functions that are only available in Excel 2019 and/or Office 365.

Functions covered include: LEFT, RIGHT, MID, LEN, FIND, CONCATENATE, CONCAT, TEXTJOIN, IFERROR, TRIM, CLEAN, UPPER, LOWER, PROPER, SUBSTITIRE, NUMBERVALUE, TIMEVALUE, DATEVALUE, ROUND, ROUNDUP, ROUNDDOWN, MROUND, FLOOR, CEILING.
