Clients need assistance in naming beneficiaries of their retirement accounts. In addition, the rules are not that simple for the beneficiary who inherits a qualified plan, IRA or Roth IRA. In this class we’ll talk about beneficiary choices, how they operate and the consequences of failing to name a beneficiary.

- Recognize the significance of the Retirement Plan Beneficiary
- Determine the reasons a trust may be named as a beneficiary
- Learn the difference between a Designated Beneficiary and an Eligible Designated Beneficiary
