Course Description
Choice of business entity is a core determination for the formation of a business – and a decision with profound implications. The entity may be as simple as a sole proprietorship or as complicated as a large corporation. Each of the business entity options has advantages and disadvantages, including liability, federal and state taxes, required formalities, flexibility, cost of forming and operating the business, and more. The Qualified Business Income deduction of IRC Section 199A has placed even more importance on this choice. The proper choice is critical to the success and sustainability of the business and your clients will look to you as their trusted adviser to lay out the pros and cons of each entity.
