Find Adventure and Tranquility in the Desert Canyons and Mountains

Surrounded by the craggy peaks of five mountain ranges, Tucson, Arizona, is a beautiful Sonoran Desert city full of culture. Often referred to as the Old Pueblo, the city manifests a vibrant mix of the Mexican and American cultures that have been intermingling there since its founding. Long known as a destination for some of the best Sonoran-style cuisine on either side of the border, Tucson became the first city in the U.S. to earn the prestigious designation of UNESCO City of Gastronomy in 2015. Downtown Tucson is a mix of modern and historic, with art, music-and of course food-taking center stage. In the surrounding areas, you'll find challenging golf courses cutting a swath of green through the desert landscape. If you venture just a bit further, you'll find plenty of adventure and tranquility in the desert canyons and mountains that encompass the city.
