Park City mixes high-end culture and fashion with the laid back vibe of a ski town

With a thriving downtown full of stylish boutiques and fine dining options, Park City mixes high-end culture and fashion with the laid back vibe of a ski town. Downtown, you’ll find a vast array of shopping options—ranging from couture to local crafts—with dining choices from five-star to local pubs. The city is also home to an expansive contemporary art scene and an exciting summer concert series. If your style is more outdoor recreation than high-end couture, you won’t be disappointed either. The host location of the 2002 Winter Olympics is also home to challenging golf courses, hot air ballooning, horseback riding, and excellent fly fishing—all found within close proximity to the city. Whether you’re looking for an upscale metropolitan experience or outdoor adventure, the best place to start is at the Hotel Park City.

Park City Food Tour

Tuesday, July 11, 2017

1:30 p.m.–5:30 p.m. | $60.00

History and incredible culinary offerings come together on our Park City Food Tour. As we stroll down the hill along Main Street, we’ll duck into several of Park City’s notable eateries. In the late 1800s, seekers originally ventured to Park City in search of silver riches. Eventually, the lively mining town yielded to skiing, thanks to an abundance of excellent snow, and entrepreneurs have opened high-quality restaurants, galleries, and boutiques in this small mountain town. Visitors are surprised at the variety of cuisines and talented chefs who offer everything from casual dining to gourmet fare.

High West Saloon

Dinner at High West Saloon

Wednesday, July 12, 2017

High West Saloon began with humble roots, opening a small, 250-gallon still and saloon in a historic livery stable and garage. What was once a small operation in downtown Park City has grown to be an internationally-recognized brand with four unique locations. In 2015, High West Saloon opened their distillery in Wanship, Utah, which acts as a space for educational whiskey tasting, pairings, and tours and houses a 1600-gallon copper pot still. Meanwhile, the saloon continues to operate as a must-visit gastro-distillery, featuring alpine-inspired western fare alongside the original still.
