Nashville is a music-lover’s dream vacation spot

Nashville is a music-lover’s dream vacation spot. Long known as the home of the American country music scene, Nashville also boasts an eclectic mix of pop, rock, bluegrass, Americana, jazz, blues, and soul music—all of which are on display in the city’s many clubs and honky tonks. If you love music but aren’t into nightlife, you can tour one of the many locations rich in the history of American roots music like the Grand Ole Opry or Ryman Auditorium. If you need a break from the scene, the surrounding area is also home to wonderfully preserved 19th century historic sites, civil war battlefields, and early American forts. Or, amble through the downtown area for shopping that ranges from upscale to alternative and sample one of the many local eateries that have the city known for its up-and-coming food scene. Whatever you choose to do with your free time, we’ll use the Sheraton Nashville Downtown as our base to explore the sights and sounds of Music City.
