This course is designed to explore current and ongoing economic issues facing the U.S. and the world, looking at official source data to allow the CPA or financial professional to objectively analyze possible ramifications for their organization.
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:

- Analyze current budget deficits at the federal, state, and local levels and the potential impact on the business environment and revenue recognition.
- Understand and analyze the issues surrounding international trade agreements, tariffs, and its impact on business, inflation, interest rates, and unemployment.
- Analyze current national and international legislative issues, with a focus on data and financial privacy and new accounting pronouncements, and the potential impact on businesses across the globe.
