This course will address the mistakes that clients typically make—and that planners sometimes ignore or fail to consider. The course will offer solutions and suggestions on the best ways to avoid these mistakes. Topics covered include failure to plan, outdated planning, mistakes made with life insurance policy and retirement plan beneficiaries, consequences of not properly understanding how trusts work, and cautions about how charitable giving should be designed and presented.
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:
