Course Description

Reports show that organizations lose an average of 5% of their revenues to fraud and yet only 3% of all frauds are detected by the external auditor. However, most organizations still rely on external auditors for fraud detection. This course addresses many topics that are important in order to audit for fraud, including ways to think like a thief, steps to maintain a healthy professional skepticism at all times, methods for recognizing the risk of fraud, and tools to build an audit program to look for fraud. After taking this course, chances are you’ll view audits differently than before.
