Course Description

This Webcast focuses on the essential building blocks to interacting with the five diverse generational segments in today’s workplace as well as how to build a greater understanding among group business units (teams, committees, strategic business units, etc.).

Learning Objectives

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the five generational segments in today’s workplace and explain how to create a greater understanding among group business units (teams, committees, strategic business units, etc.).
  • Identify the key DNA characteristics of each generation.
  • Define the five-step communication intervention plan.
  • Define the six different managerial-leadership coaching styles and identify their own styles.
  • Define the six different managerial-leadership coaching styles and identify their own styles.
  • List ways to maintain balance and perspective in any difficult situation.
  • List the seven core ethics of successful leadership.
  • Define a five-step communication formula that will significantly increase positive interaction and professional cohesiveness.
  • Outline four powerful ways to objectively assess individuals as strategic assets in order to effectively utilize personnel.
  • Explore individual and organizational behavior and when to use the Span-of-Control® model and Anatomy-of-a-Conflict® communication model when individuals or groups fall into conflict or when situations escalate out of control.
  • Describe the tools used to facilitate a healthy dialogue (arbitration, mediation, negotiation) that will result in resolution and a sense of calm.
  • Describe the four-level process for building teams that people want to be a part of.
  • List reasons why people are conditioned to think, feel, and perform differently.
  • List and explain 30 specific solution-oriented interventions that create an environment that leads to solutions and forward movement.
