- Flash Player plug-in: Our Webcasts take advantage of Adobe Flash Player for streaming video. Flash Player can be installed free of charge.
- Acrobat Reader: Handouts are provided in Adobe Acrobat format. Acrobat Reader is a free download.
- You must allow pop-up windows in order to access Webcasts. If you know how to disable your pop-up blocker(s), please do so and try again. Holding down "Ctrl" while clicking the button oftentimes works, but if you still cannot get into your course, please look over a brief tutorial on how to disable a number of common pop-up blockers.
- Streaming audio requires 33.6 Kbps, and streaming video requires between 90 Kbps and 300 Kbps, depending on video quality.
- Archived files require a connection of 90 Kbps or better.
- A high-speed Internet connection, such as an intranet connection, DSL, or cable modem is recommended.
- Monitor resolution of 1024 × 768.
- Speakers or headphones and a sound card with the ability to stream audio.
- Processor speed of 1.0 GHz or better with 256 MB RAM.
- Security and privacy settings must be set to allow LearnLive to run.*
