2017 Refund and Cancellation Policies

Customers can opt to leave the amount owed to them as a store credit on their account and apply it to future purchases. Unlike refunds, store credits will incur no fees. Store credits are non-transferrable, non-refundable and unused store credits will expire 24 months from the date of issue.

Resort Conferences:

If a customer is unable to attend the resort conference for which he/she has registered, Western CPE offers the following options:
  • Transfer all or part of the registration to another location (no fee).
  • Transfer all or part of the registration to Save Now Choose Later (no fee; must use by end of the same calendar year).
  • Cancellation refund requests will incur the following fees:
    • Cancellations received 60+ days prior to the conference start date: $150 cancellation fee
    • Cancellations received 31-59 days prior to the conference start date: $250 cancellation fee
    • Cancellations received 30 or less days prior to the conference: 50% of the total conference fee will be refunded
  • “No shows” at conferences are ineligible for transfers, refunds or store credits.

Federal Tax Update & Federal and California Tax Update:

If a customer is unable to attend the tax update for which he/she has registered, Western CPE offers the following options:
  • Transfer all or part of the registration to another location or webcast (no fee).
  • Refunds for cancellations will incur the following fees:
    • Cancellations received 60+ days prior to the seminar start date: $50 cancellation fee
    • Cancellations received 31-59 days prior to the seminar start date: $75 cancellation fee
    • Cancellations received 30 or less days prior to the seminar: 50% of the total seminar fee will be refunded
  • “No shows” at seminars are ineligible for transfers, refunds or store credits.

Webcast Products:

If a customer is unable to attend the webcast for which he/she has registered, Western CPE offers the following options:
  • Transfer to another webcast (no fee).
  • Webcast registrations can be cancelled within 30 days of purchase for a refund, less a $25 cancellation fee. Customer may opt for a store credit instead (no fee).
  • “No Shows” for webcasts are ineligible for transfers, refunds or store credits.

Self-Study Products:

  • Transfer to another self-study course within 30 days (no fee).
  • Self-Study courses are not eligible for refunds.

Self-Study Pass & Self-Study and Webcast Pass:

  • Unused webcast or self-study passes may be returned within 30 days of purchase for a refund, less a $25 cancellation fee. Customer may opt for a store credit instead (no fee).
  • Partially used webcast and self-study passes are ineligible for refunds or store credits.

Tax Update Plus Passes (Part 1 = 16-credit Tax Update Live Seminar or Webcast; Part 2 = 24 Credits of Self-Study and/or Webcast courses):

  • Transfer all or part of the Tax Update registration portion of the pass to another location or webcast (no fee).
  • Refunds for cancellations of the Tax Update Live Seminar portion of the pass will incur the following fees:
    • Cancellations received 60+ days prior to the seminar start date: $50 cancellation fee
    • Cancellations received 31-59 days prior to the seminar start date: $75 cancellation fee
    • Cancellations received 30 or less days prior to the seminar: 50% of the total seminar fee will be refunded
  • “No shows” at Tax Update seminars or webcasts are ineligible for transfers, refunds or store credits.
  • Unused webcast or self-study portions of the pass may be returned within 30 days of purchase for a refund, less a $25 cancellation fee. Customer may opt for a store credit instead (no fee).
  • Partially used webcast and/or self-study portions of the pass are ineligible for refunds or store credits.

Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are dissatisfied with any Western CPE product, please contact us within 30 days of completion so we can work with you to ensure your satisfaction, up to and including a full refund.

Complaint Resolution Policy

Complaints can be submitted by calling our customer service department at 1.800.822.4194 or by emailing wcpe@westerncpe.com. Complaints regarding accessing course materials and/or certificates will be addressed immediately if submitted during business hours. Complaints regarding course content will be addressed internally as appropriate or forwarded to instructors within three business days.

Guaranteed Price Match

If we advertise a lower price on an identical item within 15 days of your purchase we’ll match the price. Simply call our Customer Care team at 800.822.4194 with proof of the advertised lower price and your initial purchase confirmation.

Price Exclusions:

  • “Locals Only” discounts.
  • “Buy something, get something” offers, where exact item matches cannot be verified and/or prices for all items aren’t shown in the advertisement.

  • Bundled offers—including bundled subscriptions—and special purchases.
  • Self-Study and Webcast Pass purchases.
  • Conference activity purchases.
  • Competitor pricing on like products, unless otherwise indicated.
  • Items advertised as limited time/limited supply/limited quantity.
  • Pricing errors or typographical errors.
  • Cannot be applied to any other discount.
