If you want to learn to stand up paddle board, this is the perfect opportunity. Stand up paddle boarding is one of the fastest-growing water sports today. Not only does it provide the best workout on the water, it’s just plain fun. Plus, while you’re paddle boarding, you’ll be able to take in the beauty of Hanalei Bay.

Perhaps the best way to see the breadth and majesty of Kauai is by air. On this 50-minute helicopter tour, you’ll experience the magnitude of the Na Pali Coast, hover above the deep chasms of Waimea Canyon, and see the majestic Manawaiopuna Falls that were featured in the movie Jurassic Park. With much of Kauai’s lush wilderness inaccessible by car, an aerial tour is the perfect way to fully appreciate all of Kauai’s hidden natural wonders.

Smith Family Garden Luau

Join us in paradise near the sacred Wailua River, a place once reserved for Hawaiian royalty. Receive your shell lei and take either a narrated tram tour or a leisurely stroll around the lush 30-acre gardens. During the imu ceremony, we’ll learn about the Hawaiian cooking method called kālua, where a kālua pig is wrapped in ti leaves and cooked in an earthen imu oven.
We’ll enjoy cocktails from the open bar while listening to the Smith family sing Hawaiian songs. Then the feast will begin with traditional flavors and island favorites, such as kālua pork, beef teriyaki, chicken adobo, and sweet-and-sour mahi-mahi. After dinner, the Rhythm of Aloha Show will feature colorful, authentic performances in the torch-lit Pele Amphitheater.
