Early July is an ideal month to see the abundant wildlife in this exquisite corner of Wyoming and sunset is a particularly active time of the day for many species, including elk, mule deer, moose, antelope, bison, and bears. In the cool of the evening, you may see animals grazing on the enormous open meadows around us. During our four-hour safari, we’ll travel in comfort as our guide shows us how to use high-powered spotting scopes to zero in on the “locals.” Be sure to bring your camera, because the quality of the natural light at dusk is sensational.

Beneath the towering peaks of the Teton Range, the picturesque Snake River winds its way through one of the most stunning valleys in the country. An afternoon on the Snake is the perfect way to experience a rollicking raft trip that is geared to all levels of experience. Our guides provide detailed safety information and explain how to sit and paddle properly before we head downstream. There are calm sections where we’ll gently float until we reach the next set of exciting rapids. This might just be the highlight of your Jackson Hole vacation! Participants must be at least six years old. Be sure to wear clothes that can get wet and closed-toe shoes are recommended. Wetsuits are available for rent. If you bring a camera, be sure that it is waterproof.

Price includes transportation, the guided raft trip, tax, and gratuity.

Jackson Hole Rodeo
7:30 p.m.–10:30 p.m. | $45.00

A local tradition for more than 100 years, the rodeo provides the opportunity to see some highly talented cowboys and cowgirls team up with their incredibly well-trained horses to compete in a number of events. We’ll see team roping, barrel racing, breakaway roping, and other specialized events patterned after the real skills required on working ranches. The rodeo also features edge-of-your-seat excitement when the bull riders and bareback riders take to the arena while attempting to hang on for the longest eight seconds in sports. Seats are reserved.

VIP Behind the Chutes Experience
6:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m. | $130.00

This is a very special opportunity to go behind the chutes where the cowboys and cowgirls prepare to do battle in the arena. You will see the raw untamed, unedited, and uncovered underbelly of the sport, where getting dirty goes from possibility to inevitability. Price includes reserved rodeo seats behind the chutes. We need to warn you that this is not the sterile version of the rodeo that most of the public sees you will be exposed to livestock and contestants, harsh language and manure are very possible. We will give you a tour of the back pens and give you a chance to meet cowboys and cowgirls as they prepare their equipment.
