Self-Study — Online Exams & Grading

With Western CPE's online grading system, you get instant results! You can print your Certificate of Completion immediately upon successful completion of the exam, and a copy also will be sent to your e-mail address. The system saves your progress as you work through the exam, so you do not have to complete it in one session. You get three attempts to successfully complete an exam (the system will not tell you which answers are correct until you pass the exam).

Please note: For test grading purposes, you must use an e-mail address that isn’t used by other CPAs in your office or home (including a spouse).

Please complete either the hard copy version of your exam or the online version. The online exam will always be the most up-to-date version of an exam. Some exams can be completed in 8-credit modules. These are listed directly under the main course listing as "Module 1, Module 2," etc. You can choose to complete either the full version of the exam or individual modules. If you will be submitting exam results for CFP^® professional credits, you must complete courses in their entirety—not by modules.

Per the rules of the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA), you have up to one year from date of purchase to complete a course in order to receive CPE credit, including modules and Extra Exams. Because the drop-down menu below is not specific to your individual account, you may see tests listed for courses that may have expired for your individual account and cannot be graded. To determine whether a course is still available for grading on your specific individual account, reference the date of purchase on the invoice provided to you. This invoice was shipped with your self-study order or provided electronically if you ordered an online course. If your exam has expired, the system will notify you after login.
