Course Description
DROPPED 7/30/2012

Few people in business today would disagree that the US business climate has rarely been as tough as in recent times. A failing economy, increasing unemployment, and big-dollar government has contributed to a year of mere survival and expense reductions. Many companies continue to fail, and no industry has felt these negative effects more than nonprofits. Bankruptcy, foreclosures, repossessions, and retirement and investment wipeouts have significantly reduced charitable donations so vital to nonprofit survival.

What can a nonprofit organization do to confront these challenges?  This course suggests applying an ongoing strategic planning process to provide a roadmap for creating a successful nonprofit organization.
