How many CPE credits can I earn if I attend a Federal Tax Update seminar?
You’ll earn 16 live CPE credits if you attend both days of a Federal Tax Update seminar and 8 live CPE credits if you attend 1 day. However, at some locations, you can earn 6 live CPE credits and 2 Bonus CPE credits (formerly online conference courses) for each day in attendance.

Do I have to attend both seminar days at the same location?
No. You can split your seminar registration between two sites. For example, you could attend a day in Las Vegas and the other day in Scottsdale. Back to Top
Are meals included in the seminar registration fee?
A continental breakfast is served in the morning, but lunch is on your own. You’ll have an hour break for lunch. Back to Top
What are class times?
Federal Tax Update seminar classes run from 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., with an hour break for lunch from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Back to Top
Can I substitute a resort conference day for a Federal Tax Update seminar day?
No. Due to pricing structures we can no longer substitute a conference day for a Federal Tax Update seminar day.

If my colleague registered for a Federal Tax Update seminar and can't attend, can I go in his place?
You can transfer a Federal Tax Update seminar registration from person to person; however, you cannot split a 2-day registration between 2 people. Please call our office at (800) 822-4194 if you wish to transfer a registration. Back to Top
What are your cancellation fees for the Federal Tax Update seminar and Webcast?
Live Seminars: Registrants who cancel 30 days or more in advance will be refunded fees minus a $50.00 cancellation fee. Registrants who cancel less than 30 days in advance will be charged a $100.00 cancellation fee. Registrants may switch seminar sites at no cost or substitute a Federal Tax Update Webcast for a seminar at no cost. If a credit has been on account with Western CPE for over a year (the year starts when your money goes on your account as a credit, not when you originally registered), you can request a refund. Webcasts: Registrants who cancel 3 days or more in advance will be refunded fees minus a $50.00 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given less than 3 days prior to the Webcast. Registrants may transfer their registration to another Federal Tax Update Webcast in the same calendar year or substitute a Federal Tax Update Webcast for a seminar at no cost. Back to Top

Yes. Simply click “More info” at the end of this paragraph and you’ll be taken to the “Registration” page. Or, from our home page, click on “Federal Tax Update” in the left-hand navigation menu, then click on “Registration” in the green, right-hand sidebar and continue through the process. Are your Federal Tax Update courses CFP Board accepted?
Federal Tax Update classes are CFP Board accepted. At the seminar, a sign-in sheet will be passed around that includes a column for your CFP® certificant ID. Simply write it down and we will submit your CE credits to the CFP Board. Back to Top
Guests are not permitted at a Federal Tax Update seminar. They must register and pay full price in order to attend.
