Crumbling Corporations:
A Study in SAS No. 59

GM, Circuit City, and a myriad of other companies are facing the same economic struggles. Will they continue as a going concern? This up-to-the-minute course examines the guidelines set forth by SAS No. 59 to identify companies that may fail to continue as a going concern, and it looks at current companies in the mist of crisis. In addition, the course details the steps an auditor must take to conduct a well-designed audit to meet expectations by both management and investors. Participants will enjoy an intellectually stimulating discussion of these dilemmas.
