How to Prepare & Review Form 5500

This course will provide the auditor an up-close look at the reporting requirements of Form 5500. The auditor will learn how to review the informational return and supplemental schedules and properly reconcile amounts to the audited financial statements. The information in this course is aimed at professionals with experience auditing employee benefit plans. Upon completion of this course, the auditor will have information and tools to assist with obtaining and reviewing Form 5500 as well as an understanding of the reporting and filing requirements of the Department of Labor.

  • Identify the applicable reporting and filing requirements of the Department of Labor with regards to Form 5500.
