Fraud in Compliance Programs

Rules and regulations often accompany the expenditure of state or federal funds. As a result, you may have questioned costs.

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Identify common areas of noncompliance related to the administering of state or federal grant programs.
  • Define eligibility and allowability of costs.
  • Differentiate between the contract vendor and the grant administrator.
  • Interpret program expenditures vs. costs of services.
  • Define the responsibilities of the recipient and sub-recipient.
