Big Sky, Montana Conference Completed
August 13 - 17, 2012 Western CPE - picture of Big Sky, Montana

Under a big sky, you can expect big adventure. And they don’t take play lightly up here! From the high-flying adventures of the zip line, high-ropes course, or bungee trampoline to the lively water sports of white-water rafting and fly fishing, you’ll find your summit in this unique mountaintop resort.

Big Sky Resort can act as your base camp to Yellowstone National Park, only a 45-minute drive from our conference. Don’t miss your chance to see the splendor of the world’s first national park. Seeing Old Faithful erupt is something you’ll never forget. Did you know that Yellowstone holds the world’s largest active geyser field, with over 10,000 geysers, steam vents, mud pots, and hot springs? The palette of natural, breathtaking wonders here is staggering…Biscuit Basin, Mud Volcano, wildlife, and waterfalls are quite literally just the beginning.

Back in Big Sky, you may find the mountain air inspires you to take up a new sport. If so, Big Sky Sports can outfit you for any adventure. If your feet need some TLC after a day of hiking, pamper yourself at the Solace Spa with a professional foot massage. Ever wanted to feel the thrill of flying? Then head for the zip line! Soaring over an alpine forest is an unparalleled adventure. If you don’t have a need for speed, you can also enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the mountains on a chair lift ride.

The list of unique adventures goes on. Deck out in camo for a friendly war of paintball. Hit the foaming rapids of the Gallatin in a guided rafting trip. Or choose one of five nearby blue ribbon trout streams and try to put the sneak on some trout. You can arrange for a fly fishing guide to show you the hot spots and school you in winning techniques. There’s world-class mountain biking, golfing at an Arnold Palmer-designed golf course, and more exotic fun to be had at this fantastic mountain resort.
