San Antonio, Texas Conference Completed
November 12 - 17, 2007 Western CPE - picture of San Antonio, Texas

San Antonio’s famous River Walk offers a magical escape, with bright umbrellas, colorful flowers, fun shops, the scent of delicious Tex-Mex cuisine, and live music, all set on the very edge of a quiet river.

You’ll want to visit the historic Alamo; La Villita, the original city settlement that comes to life each day with artists, craftspeople, and shops; and Market Square, an area patterned after an authentic Mexican market where you can enjoy the music of mariachi bands and authentic Mexican dances. Other attractions include Tower of the Americas, Natural Bridge Caverns, San Antonio Missions National Historical Park, and the San Antonio Museum of Art.

Of course, there are several upscale golf courses, including the beautiful La Cantera Golf Club, which received the Gold Medal Resort 2004–2005 award from Golf Magazine.
