Luau
Monday, November 29, 2010, 5:00 PM-8:00 PM

The production Honua’ula will take you back to a time when the mighty seafaring Polynesians discovered Hawaii. It touches upon documented voyages of La’amaikahiki and Moikeha, the first to arrive on Maui. Hawaiian music will provide a tropical ambiance as you enjoy a breathtaking Maui sunset. As the village comes to life with Hawaiian games, lei making, and crafts, you’ll witness the Hawaii of yesterday. The lighting of torches and the sound of a conch shell will invite you to experience a delicious buffet that includes such Hawaiian favorites as sautéed island fish, imu-baked kalua pig, poi, andtaro rolls. The show, which features traditional chant and hula, will add to the excitement and bring the history of Maui to life.

Price includes dinner, show, open bar, taxes, and gratuity.

Golf at Wailea Gold Course
Thursday, December 2, 2010, 1:30 PM-5:30 PM

Called a “thinking player’s course,” the Gold offers a true test of one’s golf skills, but perhaps the most difficult hazards on the course are the distracting island views. During a round, you can enjoy spectacular vistas of the ocean, Molokini islet, ancient lava rock walls, coconut trees, and sparkling white bunkers. Created by architect Robert Trent Jones II, the Gold was honored by both Golf Magazine and Golf Digest as one of the country’s ten best new resort courses when it opened in 1994. It has also been recognized by the Maui Historical Society for its preservation of prehistoric lava rock walls, and it was hailed as one of the world’s best-designed courses by Condé Nast Traveler readers. You don’t want to miss the chance to play the 7,078-yard Wailea Gold!

Price includes green fees. Club rental is $60.00. Participants will pay green fees of $135.00 directly to the course.
